r7500 che non si accende

Oggi, complice anche il cattivo tempo, mi sono aggiudicato un r7500 in condizioni estetiche quasi perfette ma che non si accende... posso fare qualche prova io da solo o mi sapreste consigliare un buon riparatore?

Direi che l'unica prova che puoi fare è verificare se il fusibile sulla 220V è saltato....

Dove trovo il famigerato fusibile?

Aperto oggi, fusibili ok, ma valori di corrente fuori range...

I’ve not listened to LPs for a little while (but have been buying a few…) and yesterday I got the opportunity to, only to find out that my R7500 lost its left channel (for the phono stage only). The left channel is just silent, all I can hear from the left speaker is some mild hiss.

CD (monitor input), tape, streamer (cd/tape input), and radio all work alright as before. Also the turntable works as before with another amp.

Any suggested measures to cure this or should I take it straight to the technician?

if you have a soldering and you are able to solder you can check that there is not a trivial soldering problem related to that connector (sometimes it happens). Another thing you can check is whether the "phono" button switches both channels (you can do this with an ohmmeter with the device off). For everything else you will have to rely on a technician.

Got my R7500 back. The problem, according to the person who’s fixed it, was in some broken traces on the PCB. No recaps made (per my instructions).

Glad to have the receiver back. The two weeks I spent with a V7000 in its stead weren’t a waste of time though.
